We think that whilst cotswolds cottages are naturally warm, appealing and romantic, Vine Tree holiday cottage is special. Our rooms are carefully designed to ensure maximum comfort, romance and convenience. Most rooms are beamed (original oak); a cosy wood-burning stove gives a romantic atmosphere in the lounge, and yet you will still have access to fully modernised and equipped kitchen facilities. There is electric heating throughout to ensure comfortable "instant heat".

There are two double bedrooms and a twin room allowing easy occupation by six people. Also, the the lounge has a high quality sofa bed and the "minstrel gallery" over the kitchen/diner can accomodate an extra two,  allowing good friends to squeeze in ten. The two first floor double bedrooms share access to the "house" bathroom. The ground floor twin bedroom has an en-suite shower. For added convenice. there is also an extra WC on the ground floor.

Beautiful Gloucestershire countryside is all around. From our high ground  (Oxenton Hill) you have panoramic views of the cotswolds landscape and there are even views of the Malvern Hills. When you're not visiting the races, if you want to roam through fields and hills, drive through lovely scenery or just snuggle down in front of the fire, this is for you.

The cottage is self catering with a fully equipped, modern kitchen (electric hob, electric oven, microwave) and crockery and cutlery for 10 place settings. Should you wish to dine out, the "Teddington Arms" (2 minutes drive or a pleasant 15 minute walk on the footpaths) serves excellent "pub grub" at a reasonable price. Alternatively, the area has a large range of country pubs and restaurants, whilst Cheltenham (20 minute drive) and Tewkesbury (15 minute drive) both have a large variety of restaurants; italian, indian, thai etc.
